I'm Vaathsalya- a web and product designer currently based in the Washington DC area.

Ever since I can remember, I found myself drawn to creating art, reading, and writing stories from a young age. As a child, art and stories helped me comprehend and articulate what words weren't able to.

My long-term interests lie in improving user experience technology in the fields of sustainability and healthcare, primarily for BIPOC and other under-represented and historically-disadvantaged groups.

When I'm not at my desk, I'm exploring the city, trying out new matcha spots, and getting involved with the local community.
